A friend sent me this link. If you've recently won a lottery and want to share with your dolls, this is your site. custombuiltdollhouses.com/ Apologies if this has been listed 100 times.

They are amazing, but one complete doll house (consisting of one room) with a roof, drawers and window can be as economical as $1100.00. I wonder how many they sell. I think my dolls will have to continue to "live" on dressers and tables. They don't need a house as they only have two pieces of furniture. The clothing and accessories are more important to me.

I don't think I'll be getting one soon either, but it is fun to see. There might be some good inspiration for single rooms for some of us. Addy's sewing room, on another thread, is another lovely inspiration of a whole different kind.

Looks very nice and inspiring. I'll be sticking to my shelves and foam board, but love seeing dollhouses for inspiration, so thank you for the link. It reminded me that it would be cool to have siding on the end of the shelving unit that will show.

All4dolls, what a good idea -- using siding where it would show. We don't have to spend thousands, we can just pick up a nice idea or two to enhance what we have.
